Does anyone know if it’s possible to change what part of a Live Photo bounces? I have a Live Photo and the end is perfect for a bounce effect, but when I select bounce it only bounces the beginning.

Hello BillTNJ.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you'd like to edit the start of your Live Photo animation. If so, we'd like to share some information with you. You can edit a Live Photo and select a new Key Photo. Once you've done this, you can trim your Live Photo by dragon the left arrow in-wards. Just make sure you stop the trim right when you want the animation to start. Just in case, the resources below can guide you:

Take and edit Live Photos - Apple Support

Edit Live Photos on iPhone - Apple Support

You'll want to follow the steps listed under "Trim a Live Photo".

We hope this information is useful. Best of luck.

Thanks, but that doesn’t work. I am trying to use the bounce feature. Even when I change the key photo or cut to the portion of the Live Photo that I want to bounce it keeps going back to only bouncing the beginning of the original Live Photo, not the edited part

Thank you again, but that video only says how to make a bounce photo. Know how to do that, but the segment of the Live Photo that bounces is always the beginning. I am trying to change the segment that bounces. When I take the Live Photo and change it to bounce I miss the segment that I’m trying to bounce. I am trying to change where the bounce starts and stops. Thanks
