Hi siva0903,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Apple Support Communities. We see that the camera on your Mac isn't working, and sometimes your Mac is freezing, after you upgraded to Big Sur macOS 11.

We're glad to help.

Since these issues began after upgrading, you may be having a software conflict with your user account. We recommend trying restarting in safe mode and testing in a new user to help isolate what's going on.

  • Safe mode

1. Shut down the Mac.

2. Restart and immediately hold down the Shift key.

3. Release the Shift key when you see the login window.

It can take a few extra minutes to boot into safe mode. Your screen may flash or flicker when logging in to safe mode. Those behaviors are expected. The following article has more details on safe mode:

How to use safe mode on your Mac

If the issue doesn't happen in safe mode, shut down again, restart normally, and test again.

Let us know what happens.

Take Care.

Hi Josh ,

Thank you for your reply . I have tried all the options which you have mentioned but still no luck .

My Mac is working only on safe boot not on normal boot . Also I have created new user but still no luck for that user as well .
