It’s not the microphone.. because WhatsApp and Skype can hear me fine.
We understand you're unable to hear other people on phone calls. We're happy to help.
To start, we'd recommend providing some more details about the issue. Is the issue just with the receiver speaker at the top of the device, or if you place the call on speaker mode are you still unable to hear the other person? If the problem is only with the receiver speaker, does it work for other audio? For example if you play music or a video, does sound come out of that speaker?
Answers to questions like these will help give the community a better understanding of your exact issue so members can provide the most accurate responses.
In the meantime here's a basic article about sound issues that may be helpful: If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker
We look forward to your response. Cheers!
Yes I can hear speaker, and yes if I switch to speaker they can hear me.
Thanks for those details! So you're able to hear the other person when a call is on speaker, the issue is just with the receiver speaker at the top.
Now, does the receiver speaker work for other audio? If you play music or a video, do you get any sound from that speaker? Or is it not working at all?
We look forward to your response.
Yes audio works, I can hear other person, but they can not hear me... but if I turn on speaker they can hear me.
All audio works, music ok.
Thanks for the additional details. So it looks like there was some confusion on the issue. In your original message you titled it as "can't hear my calls" but it sounds like you can hear your calls just fine. It sounds like the issue is other people cannot hear you on calls.
If this is correct you would want to use these steps to test your microphones: If the microphones on your iPhone aren't working
Once you've been able to determine if the microphone isn't working at all or just in the Phone app, you'd want to contact Apple Support directly for assistance: Get Support
We hope this helps. Take care!
