on a face time call, I see the other person fine, but the other person doesn't see me, and it says that my connection is not good on the other persons screen
Hi moimeme0068,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We see that you're having some trouble with FaceTime. We'd be happy to help!
To start, make sure you’re running the latest iOS version: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Then, try the steps in the following article. You may want to note the information under “If you have connection or sound quality issues with FaceTime”: If you can't make a FaceTime call on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Should the issue persist, let us know the following:
Does this happen when using cellular data, Wi-Fi, or both?
If it's happening on Wi-Fi, does this happen on multiple networks?
Cheers!
TY for the reply.
I have an iPhone-11, and on that device, FaceTime works great. its on my MacBook that it doesn't work. its not a connection or poor signal cause like I said it works fine on my iPhone witch uses the same network. now , when I need to video conference with someone, I use zoom. witch again works fine on my network. so the problem is with my MacBook Pro specifically. I can hear and see the other person fine, but the other person only ears me, can't see me. and yes I tried face calling many people to make sure the problem is not on the other end but it is not, and anyways, like I said, when that happens, I make a zoom call and that works fine...
