So my friend is having an issue where there’s a big group of people that added her to a FaceTime call. She has them all blocked because she doesn’t want to be in the call because when they start the call the keep ringing and ringing her and when they do it acts like she answers by bringing her into the call then immediately kicks her out by telling her there is a number on the call that is blocked. But when they keep ringing her she’s trapped in a loop of not being able to use her phone. The problem is there is no way I can find for her to stop them from calling aside from turning FaceTime calling off completely. Is there another fix I’m missing?

Hello FaceTime-Questions,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that your friend is receiving Group FaceTime calls from blocked contacts.

Did your friend block these contacts using iPhone settings? Make sure the steps from Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch were used. If there are any third-party blocking softwares installed, try deleting them and see if the same occurs.

Have a great day!
