I am being asked for a password or code and do not have one for apple tv. Where do I find it?

When setting up tv and it asks for a password what do i use?

What is your model Apple TV? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

Is it new, or did it have a previous user? If it had a previous user, then was it reset to factory settings? It should!

• Using an Apple TV box requires an Apple ID account, which would have its own password.
• Using AirPlay may ask for a password. That requirement can be turned off on Apple TV, if you want.
