I had to create a new Apple ID so now my watch won’t work because I can’t remember the old one how do I reset my watch to the new id

Can someone please help me reset my watch I had to create a new Apple ID because I forgot my old one now I’m having trouble resetting it to my new one

Take the watch and it's receipt with some photo id to an apple store and they might remove the activation lock for you.
