iPhone 8 constantly going to black screen with spinning wheel.

I have an iPhone 8. It has been in a LifeProof case since I got it. Randomly started changing to black screen with spinning wheel this morning. Hard reset (volume up, volume down, side button) works immediately and I get full use of my phone for a couple minutes before it does the same thing again. Have reset it at least 10 times now. Suggestions?



Addition: After resetting that many times, I now can't even get passed the unlock screen before it shuts down again.
