Yesterday I updated my MacBook Air to the macOS Big Sur 11.2.1. The keyboard is not responsive. Mouse works. Thankfully I have a Bluetooth Keyboard so I am able to work but cannot figure out why my laptop keyboard is not working.

So far I have restarted multiple times, disabled force key option, reset SMC, deleted .plist files, reset PRAM, and the option to restore to earlier version on Time Capsule is not an option.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! If we understand correctly, you're running into an issue with the keyboard on your MacBook Air. We want to help you locate the answers you need. To verify, if you plug the MacBook Air into a power supply and allow it to charge, does this help to correct the problem? According to Apple, your Mac may be showing a low battery alert that you can’t see.

To view this information and more suggestions on how to fix the built-in keyboard, look here: If your Mac doesn’t respond to key presses.

Best wishes!
