Left side of my phone won’t let me swipe to the right and I can’t tap anything on the right side near the edge such as the letters on keyboard or the three dots at the top right and when I try to move apps to another screen it will not move right onto next screen but left side is ok I have tried lots of things to sort this but failed so any help would be appreciated please

(1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

(2) If that does not help your phone might have a failing display and needs service ➔  Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support or you may have your iPhone examined at the Apple Store or at an Authorized Service Center.

1) If you use a screen protector then try removing it and see if that resolves the issue. Note that if you remove your screen protector then you may not be able to reuse it again.

2) If that does not help your phone might have a failing display and needs service ➔  Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support or you may have your iPhone examined at the Apple Store or at an Authorized Service Center.

Hi thank you for trying to help but I have tried everything I can think of including taking the screen protector off and really cleaned the screen done a factory reset so was hoping for another solution but will contact Apple support as you suggested, when typing you struggle to insert the letter that’s near the right side of the keyboard because nothing on the right seems to work but thank you anyway
