Hey there alicebtang,

We understand your Studio3 Wireless Beats have static in the left ear. We'll be happy to help.

First, we'd recommend resetting your Beats. Use thes steps here: Reset your Beats on-ear or over-ear headphones

Then, complete any applicable steps from this page: Sound troubleshooting – Beats headphones and earphones

We'd also recommend testing them with a different playback device in order to isolate the issue to your Beats or source.

Hey! Did you figure out how to fix the issue you’re having? My Beats are also currently having a static-y sound on the left side as well, but it’s only when noise canceling is active.

The static may occur because of the active noise cancellation getting interference with other bluetooth devices in close proximity. If you listen carefully and move around you may notice the sound will intensify, switch to the right side, or stop all together when near other devices.
